Resin printing is not a death trap. It's a known irritant, so skin contact can definitely cause a reaction. Always wear gloves, and clean off/cure any surfaces where resin has dropped or smeared. Smell is definitely individual. Some people are sensitive to it and it can give them a headache. Resin is toxic and the effects are cumulative. Use proper PPE when handling it and do your printing in a well ventilated space and you'll be ok.
