🀄 Guild Wars 2 Flying Mounts
We have two flying mounts (one that coasts, one that flies), a water skimmer that turns into a submarine, three legit ground speed mounts (zippy raptor, teleporting jackal, and the roller beetle that outdoes both of them), the leaping bunny, and two that have very niche uses, turtles and warclaws.
if those that have the skyscale now will have lets say a flying speed factor of 1.0 with the new content and if those that Dont have the skyscale now will have lets say a flying speed factor of 0.8 with the new content unless they go back and grind the old skyscale content for the extra 0.2 well then thats a "nah dog, nope"
Some folks in the GW2 sub thought you may like this. This is one of the flying mounts and is very fun to fly. The physics are kind of momentum based, meaning you need to start from a higher area to dive down and gain speed. Once you gain max speed you can maintain it indefinetely with some practice.
Some players find GW2's mount system too complicated. They don't want to bind keys and constantly swap between mounts, utilizing a variety of skills and managing endurance bars and cooldowns for best effect. Your Apex server's control panel makes this quite easy. Open your server's control panel. On the top left, click Config Files. Select Server Settings. Find the Allow Flying field, on the very top, and set it to Enabled. Scroll down and click Save. Restart the server when it prompts you for the change to be saved.
2-Star mount speed is nice to have while gathering repetitively from nearby nodes. The nodes are too far away to run, but not far enough away to fly. So you repetitively mount, 2-Star-run, dismount, harvest. This is less tedious than mount, lift off, fly, land, dismount, harvest. Especially so if you’re using a mouse and keyboard.
