🎳 Is Far Cry 6 Better Than Far Cry 5

Far Cry 5 ran well for me on a GTX 980 with standard textures and 980Ti with HD textures (980Ti has 6 gigs of VRAM vs. the stock 980's 4 gigs). I can't give you exact FPS but I didn't notice any slowdowns. The game just ran damn well. I had no problems running either game with that GPU on either an old AMD 8350 or my newer Ryzen 7 2700X. The .50 cal was amazing in farcry 5, gun was OP, in farcry 6 it feels amazing, the look, sound, handling is a chefs kiss, but its damage is god awful.. its a bloody terrible weapon to use, makes it even worse with the ammo types now. Yes. Far Cry 5 is better in every possible way actually. Def not just the way it looks. The story and characters are a thousand times more interesting. The game itself is a thousand times more immersive. Far Cry 6 completely loses its immersion with constant cut scenes and third person moments. Far Cry should always maintain the 1st person Based on certain elements of Far Cry 6's Vaas and Pagan Min DLCs, it stands to reason that Joseph Seed's may be more important than them both. Far Cry 6 has released two major Villains DLCs so far It’s just a different art direction. FC6 is most definitely more technically impressive than FC5, just they went for a more naturalistic color palette for 5 and a more “postcard” vibe for 6. I agree with OP.
